So on Sunday We went with The Shillig's to drive the Alpine Loop. It's where you drive through the mountains and you can see all the pretty Fall colors of the leaves and it was so pretty!! No these are NOT engagement pictures....we just wanted to get some fun ones with the colors. The first picture is my very favorite becaus Joshua looks so adorable! He is smiling different...and I love it! lol
So Josh and I went to the Pumpkin Patch with The Shillig's for FHE this Monday and it was so much fun!! There were these big blow up Moon walks and so I jumped with the kids and Josh walked through the Maze with Brody and it was a lot of fun!! We just love The Shillig's!!
So this past weekend My rooma mate's, Josh and I all went dancing! Casey (kami's husband) his friends threw a party so we went and it was SO much fun!! We decided to dress crazy and umm...the pants Josh is wearing..are MINE! Yep..he's a size 4!! Hahahha!!! So yeah we had a BLAST and my room mate's are awesome! The have the coolest craziest clothes and it's so fun getting dressed up with the...cause it gets CRAZY!! So yeah Josh was a good sport with the pink pants and putting up with our crazyness!!
So this is my new apartment!! Sorry it's taken so long for me to put on here. This place is MUCH much better than my lsat place...if you can't tell!! lol So my room mate Whitney had these sweet turquoise couch covers so we decided to put a bunch of bright colors and stuff in our living room. There is a lot or like random colorful pictures everywhere!! Oh we usually have a big screen TV in here but it's kinda messed up so they're "fixing it" or something...so the place where the little coffe table is is normally where our TV goes. So in our room my bed is the purple one..and the other side s melissa's. This place actually has closets and like extra space to put things...unlike Roman Gardens! We only had one closet, and that was for our clothes!! The only bad thing about this place is that I have to pay utilities!! :( For some reason we didn't have to pay utilities at the last place...so now i'm carefully about leaving all the lights and stuff on!! So yeah this is it...
So I was having a really bad day yesterday...it seemed like everything was going wrong or I didn't have anything to be happy about. So I was telling my room mate everything I was worrying about and she said "well let's fast together" and I thought wow! SHE wants to fast for ME? That is so sweet!! So then she had to leave for work...so I went over to Jake and Caroline's and ate dinner and I asked Jake to give me a blessing and in my blessing it said "That Melissa being my room mate was no coinsidence, that there is a reason. That she will be there to help comfor me and for me and how she will be such a good example that I will learn things from her and use it for the rest of my life, so for me to be that same kind of example to others around me" And I thought waaahoa!!!! Ashlen was just like hey y'all be room mates...so we were. Like it didn't seem like a big deal. (Oh p.s. my nick name is "Monroe" cause of my blond hair, so that's what the car says..)
So Melissa comes home from work with a really nice note, some snickers and a flower for me!! Isn't that so thoughtful? haha! I was really excited about that!!
Also the other day we watched Hairspray and painted our toes and she had the cutest idea! She painted like a hot pink tip, then put little white polka dots on the tips. They're SOOOO cute!!! :)
