Mission Reunion

Joshua had a mission reunion this past friday!! For some reason I really like going and I showing everybody that he's MINE!! lol Since his mission was the Houston East Mission I saw a lot of familiar faces there so it was fun seeing them again. Afterwards we went out to eat with some friends that were in town. We actually ate at a place called like Texas Roadhouse or something like that? We had a blast..

Easter Eggs

This week Joshua and I went and dyed Easter Eggs with Kami and her husband Casey!!! We found out that dying isn't as fun as painting so we painted them as well!!

Oh and we also made cupcakes!! Josh was so cute and iced them for us!

And I was so sweet to eat them all!!! lol

You can't see it but it says "i luu ju'" cause my little cousins Khalil says that when you tell him you love him..

We're registered!!

On Thursday my classes were cancelled for school and Josh had the day off so we went and registered at Bed Bath and Beyond!!! It was so much picking out different decorations and colors for our future apartment! I didn't even realize we needed to pick out colors and decorations!! So we started looking at kitchen stuff and We decided our Kitchen and living room would be dark blue and red with like a little bit of brown, like decorations and pictures frames and such. And we found this really really pretty comforter thagts brown and has a bunch of red and light brown roses sewn across it, and we'd have honey colored sheets!! We're so excited!!

Our Valentine's Day!!

Valentine's day is my very very favorite holiday for some reason! I've always loved it even if i didn't have "a valentine." So this Valentine's day Joshua and my brother Nate both made me breakfast in bed!! There were eggs, pancakes (my favorite), green grapes, CINNIAMON ROLLS, and sausage oh and chocolate milk!! It was scrumptious!! We went to church and of course we had to match! The bishop told us we looked cute and him and his wife use to match every sunday..lol For some reason I was the only girl wearing pink...everyone else was wearing black. Like no lie...I guess they hated Valentine's day. Maybe cause they didn't have as good of a valentine as I did! Hahah

Josh made me these flowers to wear in my hair!! I'm obsessed with wearing flowers now and I wear them every chance I get...but I only have so many colors. So last week we bought these flowers and bought some clips and then Josh glued them together for me today. We're so cretive huh??

And then he gave me my present!! It was a purse I showed him I wanted several weeks ago, and he surprised me and bought it for me!! I've been "needing" (yes, needing. lol) a new purse so I was so very grateful! hahah

But he knows I have a sweet tooth like no other!! So he filled it with candy!! Snickers are my absolute favorite candy, Dove chocolates because one day while bored riding in the car, we would make up a little story or saying then we'd open up the candy and try to tie it in the saying that was on the wrapper! So he got me some of those so we can play our little game! lol. Also he got me a huge hershey's kiss because he said every year thats what his mom got him..Oh and we love the mints they give out at Olive Garden so now we have a whole box to ourselves!!

We were going to make Strawberry cupcakes with Strawberry icing which is not only pink but my favorite kind of cake mix, and I let Josh pick out some sprinkles (aren't I so sweet??) But we realized after we bought everything AND got all our hopes up that there wasn't any veggetable oil. So I guess we'll just get a round two for Valentine's day? Sounds good to me!!

So either I have the best Valentine ever? Or it really was the best Valentine's day ever...either way it was a LOVELY day!!

Super Bowl!!

Finally new pictures to Blog with!!! So the Shilligs threw a fun super bowl party this year!! Caroline bought Coke's in glass bottles...that are made with REAL sugar!! I don't drink carbonation but seeing how cool this sounded...I decided to try a little. It was fun, but I made Josh finish the rest...lol.

For some reason Baby Chi (Ky) LOOOVES his Joshy and only Josh can make him happy...

We are blessed!!

So...Joshua and I decided YESTERDAY that we should sell my car. It has been a hassel, we don't want to deal with it, and we don't really need it...

Well tonight we decided to put it on KSL.com (like southeasttexas.com) and put it up for sale. I kid you not 3 MINUTES LATER the phone rings...the guy wants to buy it. Josh drives the car over and comes home with cold hard cash!

We are SOOOOOOO grateful that the Lord was watching over us and helped us sell my car!!

I tried selling my car a few months back and people looked at it, but would never buy it and then this guy comes out of no where!!

Jake and Caroline so generously offered to drive me to the us stop and to work when needed and Josh will just pick me up from work when i'm off cause we get off at the same time.

I am so just shocked that it happened so fast. But we are SO grateful!! :)

Engagement Pictures

So a friend from work offered to take our Engagement pictures FOR FREE!! She did and AMAZING job!! She took over 1,200 pictures of us!! She is in the processs of editing all of them but she has edited a few and she has posted them on her blog. So far we absolutely LOVE them and we're so excited to see the rest!! So check it out!!!

Our trip to Missouri

Joshua and I ventured down to O'Fallon Missouri this past week to visit The Robinsons!! We had so much fun!!!

Josh's younger brother Jordan wanted us to be chaperone's for the New Year's Stake Dance!! lol. It was fun going back to a stake dance but it made us wonder if we were that immature at that age..lol. We did feel cool though! haha

And we went bowling one night with his friends!

Josh had fun bowling funny ways!

We had so much fun seeing his family and it was hard to leave them! But we're so grateful they let us go stay with them!!
